How Customized Portraits Work
We twist your photos into unique pieces of art by digitally (computer design) customizing your photo in all kinds of artistic styles to decorate your home or office. These make amazing gifts too for the hard to shop for!
Your custom portrait can be made either landscape or portrait orientation based on the photo provided. You can also leave any special notes during the checkout process in our notes box. *Watch out for portrait subject details on each product! Some will be for single person, or face only..etc.
- After you place your order you will receive an order confirmation email (be sure to check your spam folder in case it lands their) with instructions on how to email us back your photo that you want customized.
Photos need to be sent in high quality, full resolution in order to work and get good results. If you are sending photos from your iPhone for example, send "full image" to send the highest resolution.
Photos sent from a small social media post download, or low quality won't be large enough resolution for print, these may work for small digital custom portraits but in order to have print ready images, we need higher resolution photos. *please don't hesitate to email if you want to verify first.
Photos should be anywhere from 2500px-6000px and 300dpi to get good print quality photos.
PLEASE NOTE*
Once we start to work on your photo you cannot change or submit a different photo since we will already be hard at work designing your art with the original photo provided.
- We can also add a personalized touch to your portraits in the form of text.

"Digital file only" orders, if you need a specific size sent to you to take to your own printer, please make note of this during checkout in the notes box and we will be happy to help size the finished file for your printing.
- A digital proof will be emailed to you for print approval. Custom portraits take 2-3 business days (after receiving your photo) to design and send your proof for print approval, or if digital only order, delivery of completed digital product by email or download link.
Once proof is approved and/or any changes completed, your art will go into print if you ordered a canvas or fine art print! From there it can take 2-6 business days from print to delivery of your art. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped.
Digital file only orders will be emailed, or sent via download link in multiple sizes. Full quality custom portrait to take to any printer or requested sizes during checkout, as well we will include some more web friendly sizes you can use for your websites and/or social media.
